In other words, the interaction between all parties exists mutually "at will". It is itemfactorystudio's policy to try to have content that apeals to as broad an audiance as possible, however if anyone is upset or offended by it's content you acknowledge that you can close the webpage or program at any time, or contact concerns@itemfactorystudio.com to request that content be changed. Best efforts are made to avoid mistakes / glitches / bugs (they are frustrating for both developers and players) if one is found please contact defects@itemfactorystudio.com with a description of how to reproduce it. (i.e. webpage/program (browser/device version, avaliable memory if relevant) )-> menu option/level/program input selected, mouse/touch/keyboard inputs -> -> what the program did ( and what the program was supposed to do) ) Development and testing time/resources are limited and not everything tested or known to check for, (the developer may play though or have tested the content in a different way than the user, or have become desensitized to issues they have found workarounds for) so a description/explination of how to make it happen can be much appreciated and can speed up the time to fix it. Privacy Policy To understand privacy, it's important to first determine what privacy is, and in what context. With the definition of privacy as the freedom to perform actions without them being known to/interacting with/affecting the actions of another. By reading, viewing, listening or thinking about anything or one, it is like running a program in your conciousness, so by the act of being aware of itemfactory studio, yourself and it have become quantum entangled to some extent. Because of that it is impossible to guarantee complete privacy (freedom of action) between you and itemfactorystudio after the spacetime event of you being aware of this text or content from itemfactorystudio. This is because it has become part of your memory / spacetime cone of influence and changed your actions and thoughts (if it hadn't something or the absense of it would have instead), as well as you affecting it similarily. Therefore, to some extent, privacy is relative. The overall goal of this document/text/policy is to minimize the privacy disagrements and and to disclose information gathered to avoid feelings that your privacy is being violated without prior notice or for acceptable reason. It is acknowledged there is some inhernt risk in interaction and that both itemfactory studio and or you may be excercising some amount of freedom of choice when choosing to. User interactions are complicated and often difficult to handle well, It is itemfactory studios policy to give it's users as much freedom as possible and collect and interpret as little information as reasonable in attempt at good interactions with others. Itemfactorystudio tries to treat all of its users equally and fairly, though if a user interacts in a way that is out of the ordinary, there is a greater chance that they will be treated differently than other users. Some content may intentionally evoke emotions and it is important to keep in mind that outside the context of the content it may be entirely artificial. Please do not stalk, harass, slander, idolize, objectify itemfactorystudio or it's developers or engage in interaction (in virtual or real space) if either party is phyiscally or psycologically unwell. Also please do not pirate, copy or use any content from itemfactorystudio in your own works without obtaining a authorization/licence. Itemfactory studio retains all applicable rights to it's content/work unless otherwise negotiated. Requests can be made by contacting licencing@itemfactorystudio.com In the same way as the user you want the most amount of privacy from itemfactorystudio, Pirating or copying content from it, is a violation of the privacy/trust you are expected to in return give to the content creators. The more piracy and unpaid usage of itemfactorystudio's works that occur, the greater the pressure will be for it to turn to working with a corporate publisher which may increase the restrictions on what is allowed to be published and increase the amount of data collection and tracking / anti piracy software bundled with itemfactorystudio's content. Piracy, reverse engineering content (irregardless of the complexity, if "others have done it", or it is provided in plain or encrypted/compiled form) and or any attempts to disrupt the operation of the servers/services provided by itemfactory studio for users other than yourself may be punishable by law. If itemfactory studio has used a work by you in an unauthorized manner copywrite@itemfactorystudio.com can be contacted for complaints. Itemfactorystudio gathers some information automatically. Automated tracking - When acessing the website, your computer sends a request to the server and there is a system that came pre installed that logs the ip address, browser info and requested url. Each request costs some amount of server capacity and in turn money. The access logs are used to generate aggregate statistics such as the number of site visits, visit duration, and bandwith used. These are helpful in development for knowing what content users are interested in, like or dislike, and what parts should be optimized for performance. Linked Apps developed with 3rd party software - i.e. Unity, Google Playstore, Apple, AdMob Some apps are not entirelly developed by Itemfactory studio and have embedded advertisments or analytics tracking. Advertisments are added for the purpose of revenue generation. Analytics may be used in deciding how the game content / difficulty is adjusted in updates or other apps. If you are concerned about an app collecting data that it shouldn't be, inspecting the packets that it sends and its memory/data storage/energy usage can give information about what it is doing. The site is served in http mode (because it would cost more and add complexity to upgrade to ssl) therefore no guarantees are made that other applications or internet services inspect/alter information sent to and from itemfactorystudio. Itemfactory studio nor the internet are secret keepers or confidants, if itemfactorystudio's content or yours is not suitable don't attempt to access or transmit it. Because some of the programs and webpages here use software that is developed externally, there may also be other tracking features that are not known.
